Understanding Your Daily Recruiter Activity Report
The Daily Recruiter Activity Report provides a summary of each recruiter's sourcing activity across all connected job boards. This article explains how the report works, what each column means, and why a recruiter's name might not appear.
✅ What the Report Tracks
The Daily Report captures the following activity for each recruiter:
Profile views — Number of candidate profiles opened on each job board.
Views saved — Number of profiles that were saved or pushed to the ATS.
Notes added — Number of notes or comments added to candidate profiles.
Source breakdown — Activity broken down by job board (Dice, Monster, CareerBuilder, Indeed, Resume Library, LinkedIn, etc.).
Total — Combined activity across all job boards for that recruiter.
Key point: The report only tracks activity performed through the Recruitment Assist Chrome extension. Activity performed directly on job boards without the extension running will not appear in the report.
🔍 Why a Recruiter's Name May Not Appear
If a recruiter is actively using job boards but their name does not show up in the Daily Report, it is usually caused by one of the following:
—> Using a different browser
Recruitment Assist only works on Google Chrome. If the recruiter has the extension installed on Chrome but is browsing job boards on Edge, Firefox, or Safari, their activity will not be tracked.
Solution: Ensure the recruiter is using the same Chrome browser where Recruitment Assist is installed.
—> Not logged in to the extension
The extension must be actively logged in for activity to be recorded. If the recruiter signed out, cleared cookies, or the session expired, activity will not be tracked.
Solution: Click the Recruitment Assist icon in the Chrome toolbar. If the recruiter's name does not appear, they need to log back in.
—> Extension is outdated or disabled
An outdated or disabled extension may not record activity correctly.
Solution: Follow the update process in How to Update Recruitment Assist and Chrome Browser.
—> Extension installed on a different device
If the recruiter has the extension installed on their desktop but is working from a laptop (or vice versa), activity on the device without the extension will not appear.
Solution: Install Recruitment Assist on every device the recruiter uses for sourcing.
—> Recruiter was added recently
If a recruiter was recently added to the system, it may take up to 24 hours for their activity to start appearing in reports.
📋 Understanding Report Columns
Here is what each column in the report represents:
SL.No — Row number.
Name — The recruiter's full name as registered in the system.
Email — The recruiter's registered email address.
Dice, Monster, CareerBuilder, Indeed, Resume Library, etc. — The number of candidate profiles viewed on each respective job board.
Total — The sum of all profile views across all job boards.
Views Saved — The number of profiles that were successfully pushed to the ATS.
Notes Added — The number of notes or comments the recruiter added to candidate profiles.
🔄 Daily vs. Weekly vs. Monthly Reports
CrintellTech provides three types of activity reports:
Daily Report — Sent every day, covering the previous day's activity.
Weekly Report — Sent weekly, summarizing the past 7 days.
Monthly Report — Sent monthly, summarizing the past 30 days.
All three reports track the same metrics. If a recruiter does not appear on any of these reports, they are considered unengaged for that period. To learn more, see Unengaged Users Report.
❓ Frequently Asked Questions
—> Can I add or remove users from the report?
Yes. To add or remove a user from the Daily, Weekly, or Monthly reports, email support@crintelltech.com with the user's name and email address and specify which reports they should be added to or removed from.
—> Why does a recruiter show views but zero "Views Saved"?
This means the recruiter is opening candidate profiles on job boards but not pushing them to the ATS. This could be because:
The candidates do not have sufficient contact details for a push.
The recruiter is reviewing candidates but deciding not to save them.
There may be a technical issue with resume push — see Troubleshooting Resume Push Issues.
—> The report shows activity on a job board we do not use. Why?
During account setup, source mapping is configured based on the job boards your team uses. If you see activity attributed to an incorrect source, it may be a source mapping issue. Contact support to review your configuration.
—> Can I receive the report at a different time?
Report delivery times are configured during onboarding. If you need to change the delivery schedule or recipients, email support@crintelltech.com.
