Troubleshooting Resume Push Issues
If candidate profiles are not being pushed from job boards (Indeed, LinkedIn, Dice, Monster, or CareerBuilder) to your ATS, follow this guide to identify and resolve the issue.
โ Quick Checklist
Before diving into detailed troubleshooting, confirm all of the following:
You are using Google Chrome (Recruitment Assist does not work on Edge, Firefox, or Safari).
The Recruitment Assist extension is installed and enabled in Chrome.
You are logged in to Recruitment Assist (click the extension icon โ your name should appear).
Your Chrome browser is up to date.
Your Recruitment Assist extension is up to date.
You are using the same browser where Recruitment Assist is installed (not a different browser or device).
If any of the above are not confirmed, start there. If all are confirmed, proceed to the steps below.
๐ Step 1: Verify Your Extension Is Active
Click the Recruitment Assist icon in your Chrome toolbar.
Confirm your name appears in the popup โ this means you are logged in.
Check the version number at the bottom of the popup.
If the icon is grayed out, your name does not appear, or you see an error message:
Click here to sign out.
Log back in at crintelltech.com โ Login.

๐ Step 2: Update Chrome and the Extension
Outdated software is the most common cause of push failures. Follow these steps:
Update Google Chrome: three-dot menu (โฎ) โ Help โ About Google Chrome โ Relaunch.
Update the extension: type
chrome://extensionsin the address bar โ toggle Developer mode ON โ click Update โ toggle Developer mode OFF.Close all job board tabs.
Log out and log back in to Recruitment Assist.
Reopen the job board and test with a candidate profile.

๐ Step 3: Clear Browser Cookies
If updating does not resolve the issue, clear your browser cookies:

After clearing cookies:
Log back in at crintelltech.com โ Login.
Navigate to a job board.
Open a candidate profile with contact details and test the push.
Important: Clearing cookies will log you out of the web app but not the extension. If you need to fully reset, use the Sign Out option within the extension first, then clear cookies.
๐ Step 4: Check Permissions and Site Settings
โ> Verify Extension Permissions
Navigate to a job board (Indeed, LinkedIn, Dice, etc.).
If Chrome asks you to grant permissions to Recruitment Assist, click Allow.
Never click Deny or Remove when prompted for extension permissions.
โ> Allow Pop-ups on CrintellTech Dashboard
Go to the CrintellTech Dashboard: app.crintelltech.com/dashboard
Click the padlock icon next to the URL in the address bar.
Select Site Settings.
Scroll down to Pop-ups and redirects and set it to Allow.
Reload the page.
โ> Allow Cookies for the Extension
Click the padlock icon next to the URL in Chrome.
Select Cookies.
Ensure app.crintelltech.com is listed under Allowed.
If it is under Blocked, select it, click Allow, then click Done.
Restart Chrome.
๐ Step 5: Uninstall and Reinstall the Extension
If none of the above steps work, try a clean reinstall:
โ> Uninstall
Click the three-dot menu (โฎ) in Chrome โ Settings โ Extensions.
Find CrintellTech Recruitment Assist and click Remove.
Confirm the removal.
โ> Reinstall
Go to crintelltech.com and click Login.
Enter your credentials.
Follow the on-screen instructions to install the extension.

Note: If your IT team restricts extension installation, contact them to whitelist CrintellTech Recruitment Assist.
๐ Job BoardโSpecific Notes
โ> Indeed
Recruitment Assist works on the Smart Sourcing page for Indeed.
If Indeed has recently updated their interface, you may need to wait for a new version of Recruitment Assist. Contact support to confirm whether an update is in progress.
โ> LinkedIn
Ensure you are on a LinkedIn profile page with visible contact details.
LinkedIn Recruiter and LinkedIn Recruiter Lite may behave differently โ confirm which version your account uses.
โ> Dice
If you see a duplicate notification (black box), do not click the candidate name again. Use the hover view to access the resume from your internal database.
Dice periodically changes their search results page layout, which can temporarily affect push functionality.
โ> Monster / CareerBuilder
If profiles from Monster or CareerBuilder are not being created in your ATS, the issue may be related to field mapping during parsing. Contact support with the candidate's name and email so we can investigate.
โ Still Not Working?
If you have completed all steps above and resume push is still failing:
Take a screenshot of the error or behavior you are seeing.
Note which job board and ATS you are using.
Note the Recruitment Assist version (visible in the extension popup).
